Pretty agate nuggets, some with banded stripes, some speckled, pale carnelian colors. The necklace came from an estate purchase where the seller assured me that this came from a NA jewelry store and that it had been made by local NA artisan utilizing vintage Czech beads (which looks right!) and pretty graduated sizes of agate nuggets. I rarely trust what I hear at an estate sale but here it is - it's a worthy piece of vintage jewelry for your collection!
The closure is a hook and figure 8 closure and it appears to be strung on Tiger Tail so it's really sturdy. Largest nugget is a little more than 1/2 inch in diameter. Length is about 19 inches. There are three nuggets in the center front and the rest are separated by pairs of the clear molded Czech glass beads.
